The RFID measuring place is used for the quality control of RFID transponders. In order to be able to accomplish the examination in different environments and with different parameters, testing devices are assembled from the components of a modular system according to the respective requirements. A uniform electronic control and evaluation unit (control, interface, evaluation and display module) is common to all testing assemblies.
Both manual and automated testing assemblies are available. Here are three examples from all possible
systems only:
Mechanical testing device for adjustable field intensity with one RFID reader
(GOOD/BAD field intensity criterion)
This testing device ensures the function of the RFID tags in a defined distance (field intensity) and shows the UID on a display. The distance of the RFID reader to the tag is adjustable manually.
Automated testing device for adjustable field intensity
(batch processing, GOOD/BAD field intensity criterion)
This testing device serves the examination of the function/the field intensity limit as above.
The distance from the RFID reader to the tag is adjustable by a motor.
Testing device for adjustable field intensity at multiple use
(up to eight times inlay use, GOOD/BAD field intensity criterion)
This testing device ensures the function of the RFID tags in a defined distance (field intensity) and shows the UID(s) on a display. Up to eight readers can be placed on a variable testing assembly, whereby the function of all tags is examined in a multiple use. The distance from the RFID readers to the tags is adjustable manually.
